Traditional Viognier notes of lemon, honey and tropical fruits greet your nose. The acid balance brings out a taste of lemon, orange, peach and kiwi, with flavours of gooseberry and creamy lemon tart. Great length and a clean finish. We suggest trying the wine starting in late 2016 when the orange and peach flavours reveal themselves.

On the palate, there are flavours of kiwi, lime, peach and pear, with hints of minerality and asparagus. A delicious balance between crisp and lush.

Made in a food-friendly style, this dry rosé is a nod to old-world rosé wines. Made from only red grapes, kept on the skin for 24 hours to draw out the colour, the flavour of this wine can be best described by the word ‘pink’. Notes of strawberry, cranberry, pomegranate, rhubarb, citrus and cantaloupe abound. The dryness and unique blend of grapes make this an extraordinarily versatile wine, pairing nicely with a wide range of flavours and textures.

A well-integrated wine with a long finish. This is a blend of three Bordeaux grapes - Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. The nose has hints of fresh & dried raspberries, cherries, blueberries, and hints of exotic tea. Filling your mouth are flavours of chocolate, strawberry, blueberry, raspberry, and sweet spice. This is a big wine made to cellar, and can be enjoyed starting in late 2017. Decanting the wine before drinking will add to your pleasure.

This wine is 100% Merlot with all grapes planted and grown here on our vineyard in Naramata. The fragrance of this wine is like cherry blossom candy. The long, lingering palate offers notes of cherry, cocoa and brambleberry. This wine was made to age so it can be stored for at least 10 years and would be best to drink after 2017.

Cabernet Sauvignon

2010 tasting notes

This is our first, and potentially only vintage of Cabernet Sauvignon that we will do. Typically, our Cabernet Sauvignon wine is reserved for blending into our red blends, but the 2010 vintage tasted so good that we had to set some aside as a single varietal. Soft white pepper aromas pair with hints of vanilla and plum on the nose. On the nose, there are hints of blueberry, cherry and vanilla.

With pleasant oak integration in the nose, the wine offers notes of soft vanilla, cherry and marzipan. The palate reveals luscious cherry, plum and dark chocolate flavours. This is a great example of the interesting growing year we had in 2012. It was a very hot vintage, which required careful attention to the grapes to slow down ripening to balance flavours. With higher alcohol than previous years, it remains balanced with a complex fruitiness on the nose and palate.
